How To Lose Belly Fat

One of the most asked questions in weight loss is, how to lose belly fat.  Personally this question addresses one of my areas of concern, and maybe yours too.  So I have done a little research on the subject and have decided to post my findings.  So, here they are.

Where does the fat come from pictures of belly fat loss

When you eat more calories than you can burn it is a simple fact of life that you will store fat in your body.It is our inherited preservation of life mechanism.  Just in case we hit some lean times.

The belly is the number one area, that tends to accumulate more fat.   Our non movement lifestyle, little exercise and every day  consumption of foods high in fats and sugars produce excess fat .

Both men and women store fat in the belly and find that this is the hardest place to get rid of fat once it is there.

 Reduce overall body fat

Exercise, exercise, sit ups,ab crunches, that is how to lose belly fat.  Whew!  I’m exhausted just thinking about it.  But, really all those exercises are ok and they will help burn up some calories.

The smart money says set up a better diet and do some consistent cardio exercises.  Walking, running, biking, treadmill, swimming are all much better at getting your body to burn calories and get rid of excess fat.

Think about the big picture.  Don’t target just your belly fat.  Move your whole body and the belly fat will come off.  Diet and exercises to lose belly fat should be geared to your entire body.

Here is one that you hear very little about.  After years of over eating and little or no physical exercise our stomach muscles and the surrounding internal muscles become weak and over extended.

We can stuff in more food because our stomach is not signaling our brain that it is full, it just keeps stretching.  Have you ever loosened your pants after a big meal?  I hate to say it but I have.  Why? Because it allows the stomach to stretch and we don’t feel so full.

Now we do some stomach exercises, some strength training and guess what, stronger stomach muscles won’t let us over stuff our belly with too much food.  It will signal our brain, Hey I have had enough!

Can Foods help you lose belly fat

The answer is Yes!  According to new research in the Journal of Nutrition, adults who ate whole grains every day had about 2.4 percent less body fat and 3.6 percent less stomach fat.  Whole grain cereal, whole wheat bread, bulgur (it is a whole grain) are all whole grains you can eat to help lose belly fat.

Vinegar has been shown to reduce belly fat.  A Japanese study showed that when 2 tablespoons of acetic acid (which is what is in vinegar) was added to a regular diet for 12 weeks adults had 5 percent less belly fat and 3.5 percent less total body fat than adults who did not take the acetic acid.

Researches suspect that the acetic acid boosts enzymes that oxidize fat.  You can use any type of vinegar to add to your diet.  Try it, it can’t hurt.  Mix a tablespoon in a cup of water.  It is actually not bad.

Will supplements help me to lose belly fat

I am an advocate of natural supplements because they do provide a tool for us to break our eating habits and cycles.  We are all creatures of habit and eating is a habit.  Over eating is a habit.

Supplements help to break habits by reducing feelings of hunger.  You can get all the information you need on supplements here on my website.  Some of the best supplements that help are African Mango, Proactol, Unique Hoodia, Caralluma Actives.  These are all natural products and have no side effects.  They all have money back garantees, so you can try them and see if they work for you.

Let me know what you think or your tips and suggestions.
